STV xəbər “Politico”ya istinadən xəbər verir ki, ştam artıq 29 ölkədə aşkarlanıb.
Ümumdünya Səhiyyə Təşkilatının (ÜST) COVID-19 üzrə texniki mütəxəssisi Mariya Van Kerkhove vəziyyətdən narahat olduqlarını bildirib: “Biz onun artım tempindən narahatıq. Xüsusilə də Avropa və ABŞ-nin şimal-şərqində. Orada yeni ştam mövcud olan altvariantları tez bir zamanda əvəzləyib”.
Omicron XBB.1.5 ştamının digər mövcud altvariantlardan daha ağır olub-olmaması bəlli deyil.
Van Kerkhovenin sözlərinə görə, ÜST yeni ştamın ciddiliyi ilə bağlı analiz üzərində işləyir.
